Under One Roof is a podcast about Multigenerational households living through the pandemic. We are Anthropology students from Cal Poly Pomona. Over the past few years we interviewed people living together in households consisting of children, parents, and grandparents during the COVID 19 pandemic. Amy Dao is a medical anthropologist and Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona. She works on public health issues ranging from the production of household health in multigenerational families in Southern California to the availability and adoption of health insurance in Vietnam. She is interested in the social and structural conditions that shape health and health care. Her research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, the Weatherhead East Asian Institute, and the Nippon Foundation. Follow her on Twitter @AmyDao.

I am a first generation college student with a major in General Anthropology and graduating with a Bachelor's in Science. The most extensive research endeavor I have undertaken occurred in the Fall of 2022, as part of my coursework in the Methods in Anthropology course. The study was centered on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of individuals residing in Multigenerational households. Our research group conducted an investigation on this subject matter.
